Responsibilities
- Develop tooling and applications that support the evolving needs of the data platform and its users.
- Reduce platform operational overhead through automated workflows and sound source control practices.
- Promote platform engineering principles and ensure tooling is implemented appropriately and effectively.
- Collaborate with business, AI/ML, operations, and Agile teams to identify and deliver platform improvements.
- Document technical processes for future maintenance and contribute to an inclusive, learning-focused team culture.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, Streamlit, FastAPI, and SQL.
- Significant experience with containerization, orchestration using Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Argo Workflows, CI/CD, and API and service development.
- Knowledge of Azure, GCP, data engineering, and Snowflake.
- Strong English and French interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps patterns, microservice architecture, JavaScript or Node.js, Java, Go, and certifications in Snowflake, dbt, Azure, or related technologies.
