Responsibilities
- Implement new features, participate in upgrades, and deliver customizations based on functional specifications.
- Analyze Finastra Essence implementation architecture and design solutions for customer needs.
- Write technical specification documents for offshore services and coordinate solution integration with offshore developments.
- Develop toolkit extensions using the Finastra Essence toolkit API.
- Investigate technical and functional defects and propose appropriate solutions.
- Ensure development tasks meet business, end-user, coding, design, and quality requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and regional teams and mentor junior Technical Consultants.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in a relevant area, preferably with a financial institution or banking software company.
- Technical knowledge of Finastra Essence and experience with consulting and core banking implementation projects.
- Experience with Java, C, C++, or C#.
- Experience handling clients, strong written and spoken English, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Good Unix, Linux, or Windows skills and SQL experience with Oracle, Sybase, or MS SQL.
- Ability to work in a team environment, with focus, professional integrity, and transparency.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles is a plus.
