Responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute functional, regression, system integration, UAT, exploratory, and ad hoc test cases.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using multiple automation frameworks.
- Improve automated testing frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate API test cases and design and execute tests for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Validate data consistency across systems and use SQL for data validation.
- Identify, document, and track defects; participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Produce test reports and quality metrics and promote QA best practices and process improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software quality assurance experience combining manual and automated testing.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with one or more automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- At least 3 years of manual and automated API testing experience.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java scripting.
- Familiarity with GitHub and basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in financial services or wealth management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, software testing methodologies, business requirements, and user stories.
- A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- ISTQB certification is an asset.
- Experience with Broadridge Dataphile is an asset; performance testing with JMeter or k6, BDD with Cucumber, and AWS or Azure familiarity are also desirable.
