Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and execute functional, regression, system integration, UAT, exploratory, and ad hoc test cases.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using multiple automation frameworks.
  • Improve automated testing frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate API test cases and design and execute tests for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Validate data consistency across systems and use SQL for data validation.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Produce test reports and quality metrics and promote QA best practices and process improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of software quality assurance experience combining manual and automated testing.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with one or more automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • At least 3 years of manual and automated API testing experience.
  • Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java scripting.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in financial services or wealth management.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, software testing methodologies, business requirements, and user stories.
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • ISTQB certification is an asset.
  • Experience with Broadridge Dataphile is an asset; performance testing with JMeter or k6, BDD with Cucumber, and AWS or Azure familiarity are also desirable.
