Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform with least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and compliance guardrails.
  • Design and improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with SAST, secrets detection, container image scanning, policy enforcement, and quality gates.
  • Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations and use GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, and related tools for infrastructure security.
  • Define SLOs, build alerting and observability solutions, lead blameless post-mortems, and improve SRE practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and manage production incidents from detection through resolution and follow-up.
  • Maintain build and release environments and develop automation and test tooling for client applications.
  • Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies through proof-of-concept testing and maintain documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience in AWS.
  • Experience with AWS EC2, ECS, ECR, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, EKS, and CloudFront.
  • Deep Terraform expertise, including modular, reusable, and well-tested infrastructure code.
  • Strong GitHub Actions experience building pipelines as code with integrated security scanning.
  • Hands-on cloud security experience with GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, SCPs, and related practices.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Linux system administration and Docker container management experience.
  • Experience defining SLOs, designing observability, and improving reliability through post-mortems.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform compilation for Windows and macOS, code signing, and software supply chain security.
  • Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, including architecture proposals, design reviews, and actionable runbooks.
  • A BA/BS in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred, with equivalent experience accepted.
  • AWS Professional-level certification such as Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Professional is advantageous.
  • Jenkins, Windows Server, and Windows container experience are a plus.
