Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the developer platform that powers Flexport engineering.
- Create and support CI/CD pipelines and build tooling.
- Improve the backend and frontend developer experience.
- Steward the GraphQL and gRPC ecosystem.
- Integrate IAM solutions for security and ease of use.
- Ensure engineers can effectively use container orchestration and observability tools.
- Conduct user research with developers to inform platform improvements.
- Collaborate with product teams to implement organization-wide changes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building developer platforms or internal tooling.
- Strong full-stack development skills.
- Expertise in CI/CD systems, container orchestration, and build tooling.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and independently identify problems.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder alignment.
- A helpful attitude and drive for impactful results.
