Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand user needs and draft software proposals and designs.
- Assess design feasibility and project parameters within time constraints.
- Develop, maintain, and support financial applications for reliability, integrity, functionality, and performance.
- Design and implement workflows to automate and optimize financial processes, particularly business intake and risk processes.
- Integrate new business intake and conflicts data into financial systems.
- Document technical and business requirements for requests and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Business Intake, Privacy & Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams.
- Assist with installation, configuration, automation, and customization of financial systems applications.
- Serve as a technical expert on project teams addressing complex financial systems issues.
- Modify software to correct errors or improve performance.
- Monitor and assist with software testing, validation, and installation procedures.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial applications development and support.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and workflow applications.
- Proficiency in workflow development and process automation, particularly in business intake and risk areas.
- Experience with a workflow development and process automation tool.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite or Microsoft 365.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
