Responsibilities
- Implement backend features for the AI Governance product area.
- Build and maintain automated test coverage using RSpec or equivalent tools.
- Grow knowledge of AI governance and related product architecture.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
- Work asynchronously with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth delivery.
- Take ownership of scoped work and provide clear status updates.
Requirements
- Demonstrated backend development experience building and shipping production features.
- Proficiency with Ruby on Rails and solid fundamentals in PostgreSQL.
- Experience with automated test coverage using RSpec or an equivalent framework.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing in an async environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive scoped work through completion.
- Experience with audit event systems, telemetry pipelines, or compliance-focused tooling is a plus.
- Experience learning new technical domains and applying that understanding to product development.
- Additional experience with GraphQL APIs, event-driven architecture, Python, or data-focused databases is a plus.
