Responsibilities
- Diagnose, resolve, and prevent production issues affecting Aras Innovator customers.
- Investigate complex escalated issues across the application stack and identify root causes.
- Develop, test, and deploy fixes, enhancements, and product improvements for customer-reported problems.
- Support customer upgrades and adapt existing functionality to newer product versions.
- Use troubleshooting, diagnostic, and profiling tools to investigate performance and stability issues.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, security, and CI/CD and DevOps delivery practices.
- Balance urgent customer escalations with planned improvement work and collaborate with product teams on technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern engineering and AI-assisted development practices.
- Share knowledge and improve support and engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial software development experience with .NET in production.
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with MS SQL Server and strong T-SQL skills.
- Experience using troubleshooting, diagnostic, and profiling tools.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP-based standards such as OData.
- Proficiency with Git or another distributed version control system.
- Experience in Agile or Kanban development environments.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency, spoken and written.
- Ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar, ambiguous, or business-critical issues and communicate technical matters to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: effective use of AI tools for development, debugging, troubleshooting, and productivity.
- Preferred: experience with large enterprise systems, legacy environments, and client-side development.
- Preferred: direct experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS or Azure Container Apps, and Helm.
