Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications, scoped applications, modules, workflows, forms, and user interfaces.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow development, testing, staging, sandbox, and production environments.
- Develop ServiceNow integrations with enterprise platforms and applications using APIs and web services.
- Configure and extend ServiceNow Case Management and related platform modules.
- Use ServiceNow Application Engine, Flow Designer, and workflow automation to support process modernization.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and end-user assistance.
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements with stakeholders, administrators, and technical teams.
- Support development, deployment, release management, version control, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and provide technical guidance and mentorship as needed.
- Participate in Scrum and cross-functional delivery activities while applying ServiceNow design patterns and software development best practices.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including ServiceNow platform development.
- Experience designing and developing custom scoped applications within ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Application Engine, Flow Designer, and workflow automation.
- Experience configuring, customizing, and extending ServiceNow Case Management and related modules.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required; Certified Application Developer certification is preferred.
- Experience with post-MVP enhancements spanning configuration, development, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS, and other web technologies used in ServiceNow.
- Experience with Java, Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and web services.
- Understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, software development lifecycle practices, and scalable solution development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
