Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-fidelity system models within Spacetime for dynamic wireless communication networks.
- Design and write production-ready Python or Go adapter layers connecting Spacetime with customer hardware.
- Create and optimize Protobuf, JSON, and gRPC data schemas representing external network topologies.
- Perform wireless link-budget analysis, wave-propagation modeling, and coverage simulations.
- Serve as the tier-3 escalation lead for diagnosing and resolving live-network integration issues.
- Collaborate with Product and Software Engineering teams to convert custom integration patterns into reusable product features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Hands-on software development experience and ability to pass an entry-level software engineering coding assessment.
- Strong understanding of wireless communication systems, including RF path loss, propagation, network topology, and link budgets.
- Practical experience with system or network simulation and modeling tools.
- Preferred experience with software-defined networking, BGP, or GCP/AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred experience delivering high-stakes technical integrations for defense, aerospace, or commercial telecommunications clients.
