Base Salary
$224k - $352k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the enterprise roadmap for integrating AI agents into data engineering workflows, platform operations, and software delivery.
- Develop enterprise data strategies, reference architectures, and standards for AI, generative AI, and agentic AI use cases.
- Drive metadata-driven architectures, semantic models, knowledge graphs, business ontologies, and AI-ready data products.
- Establish frameworks for APIs, semantic layers, retrieval systems, vector-based retrieval, agent orchestration, tool discovery, and context management.
- Define governance and trust controls for data lineage, provenance, quality, explainability, auditability, privacy, security, and responsible AI.
- Align data platform, engineering, analytics, BI, product, and architecture roadmaps across the enterprise.
- Evaluate emerging agent frameworks, copilots, autonomous engineering platforms, and other technologies for strategic adoption.
- Advise executive leadership on AI strategy, data modernization, knowledge management, and future-state enterprise architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with consideration for coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 15+ years of relevant work experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise architecture, or related technology disciplines.
- Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise data ecosystems and supporting AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or data modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated success influencing outcomes across large, matrixed organizations.
- Deep understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh concepts, metadata management, semantic modeling, data governance, and data product design.
- Strong understanding of APIs, event-driven architectures, interoperability standards, LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, agent frameworks, and AI orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of modern software engineering, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, strategic translation of emerging technologies, and thought leadership in data, AI, or enterprise architecture.

- Comcast generally prefers employees to work on-site unless the team is designated as virtual; remote consideration may be available for candidates living more than 100 miles from the office when virtual options are listed.
