Responsibilities
- Deliver Dynamics 365 F&O implementations, upgrades, integrations, customizations, and upgrade-safe extensions using X++.
- Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using OData, REST/SOAP APIs, AIF/DMF, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, Dual Write, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build SSRS, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric reports and support data migration using the Data Management Framework.
- Configure security roles, privileges, workflows, batch jobs, and performance tuning activities.
- Develop reusable templates, frameworks, accelerators, Python testing scripts, and automation workflows using Copilot Studio and AI Builder.
- Manage build, release, deployment, version control, branching, and environment activities across Dev, UAT, and Production.
- Prepare technical design documents based on functional designs and business requirements.
- Review code and technical designs, troubleshoot complex issues, enforce Microsoft best practices, and support platform upgrades and hotfixes.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance during workshops, demos, and stakeholder discussions.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of demonstrated experience in ERP technologies and 6+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O/AX technical development experience.
- Experience as a technical developer on at least five full-cycle Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
- Expert knowledge of X++, Dynamics 365 F&O layered architecture, customization, extensibility, SSRS reporting, workflows, batch jobs, security roles, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Operations modules.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio, the D365 Extension framework, developer workbench tools, Azure integration services, SQL Server, DMF tools, ETL techniques, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, Git, GitHub, release management, test plans, Lifecycle Services, and Power Platform Admin Center.
- Experience developing automated testing scripts and familiarity with Leapwork, Azure App Testing, Playwright, JMeter, Ranorex, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
- Strong database, API design, authentication and authorization, debugging, environment troubleshooting, documentation, code review, and technical mentoring skills.
- Preferred certifications or experience include MB-500: Finance & Operations Apps Developer, Power Pages, and AI-powered Copilot Studio.
