Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and translate them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, test, and maintain software modules and applications.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases and usage scenarios.
- Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend system improvements.
- Support software installation, upgrades, performance improvements, and interface changes.
- Coordinate with functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, project managers, and customers.
- Prepare code, technical documentation, flowcharts, reports, status updates, and project specifications.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, release schedules, MIS reporting, and customer issue resolution.
- Gather client clarifications and feedback and maintain effective customer communications.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Mandatory experience with AWS Glue.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design software solutions, write code, test applications, troubleshoot issues, and document results.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, training, and certifications to learn current practices and programming languages.
