Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
- Contribute to large-scale technical strategy and planning.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy software projects.
- Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges through evaluation of technologies and procedures.
- Lead projects, serve as an escalation point, and guide less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and meet client needs.
- Follow applicable technology, compliance, risk, governance, monitoring, escalation, and remediation requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 4+ years of Java development experience.
- 4+ years of SQL experience.
- Full-stack development experience using Java and Python, with frontend, middleware, and backend skills.
- Experience developing applications from scratch.
- 2+ years of experience with AI tools and exposure to developing LLM models.
- Experience using GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and SonarQube.
- Active participation in Agile methodology.
- Ability to lead technical work and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
