Base Salary
$185k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver new products and features across the full software stack, from architecture through production release.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, observable, and production-ready web and backend systems.
- Build AI and agent-powered features using frontier models, prompting, context, tools, and model reasoning.
- Validate features with QA methods, evaluations, tracing, and measurable and reproducible quality practices.
- Use agentic software engineering techniques throughout planning, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineering stakeholders to define, prototype, scope, prioritize, and ship product features.
- Share engineering knowledge and promote AI-assisted and agentic development practices across the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional programming experience in web application and backend environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python and strong working knowledge of React, Next.js, or Rails.
- Experience refining product requirements in collaboration with a product owner.
- Hands-on experience building AI- and agent-powered features using frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
- Regular use of coding agent harnesses such as Claude Code, Codex, Opencode, or Pi in daily development workflows.
- Experience with continuous delivery through feature flagging and trunk-based development.
- BS/BA degree in a related field.
- Experience deploying or fine-tuning open-weight models and hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks are helpful additional qualifications.
