Responsibilities
- Audit and document existing platform architecture and integrations across services and systems.
- Produce architecture diagrams and documentation for delivery and long-term technical decisions.
- Identify integration bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and technical debt and propose concrete improvements.
- Align tech leads and squads on shared integration principles and guidelines.
- Define a target integration model, including service boundaries and interaction patterns.
- Create a prioritized roadmap with clear milestones and support squads in delivering it.
- Provide design collaboration, code and approach reviews, and technical decision-making to unblock delivery.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative, and engaged engineering team.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and improving integration architecture across multiple services.
- Strong engineering background in modern web stacks with deep practical experience in Node.js, React, and Nest.js.
- Working knowledge of Azure-based systems.
- Experience setting standards and aligning multiple teams on shared technical approaches.
- Ability to reverse-engineer unclear systems, improve them incrementally, and explain trade-offs clearly.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Practical, collaborative working style with a focus on shipping improvements and raising engineering quality.
