Base Salary
$281k - $356k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-stage training systems for foundational and onboard models.
- Optimize end-to-end training latency to meet release cadences.
- Solve large-scale training challenges with multi-model and multi-task systems.
- Provide technical leadership on production-critical model training systems.
- Facilitate collaboration between Perception, infrastructure teams, and Alphabet collaborators.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ML-related software development.
- 6+ years of experience in ML-driven production systems with large-scale data.
- 4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 3+ years of experience with computer vision models, LLMs, or vision language models.
- Passion for engineering excellence and efficient model development.
