Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines across multi-tier environments.
- Automate build, testing, artifact packaging, deployment, rollback, and zero-downtime release workflows.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize Java and Spring Boot application build, packaging, and runtime workflows.
- Provision and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Create and maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and container configurations.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, code analysis, security controls, artifact repositories, and secret management into deployment pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Guide development teams in building cloud-native, observable, and deployable applications while supporting governance, compliance, change management, and access management policies.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of relevant technology experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or build/release automation.
- Demonstrated experience building and operating enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Practical understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Gradle, multi-module builds, dependency management, and JVM performance basics.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker or Podman and Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Proficiency with Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Strong scripting proficiency in Bash/Shell, Python, or Groovy.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or ELK.
- Familiarity with SAST/DAST, SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, Artifactory or Nexus, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, ownership, and independent initiative skills.
