Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for MQ, Kafka, and file-based integration patterns.
- Perform functional testing across ST, SIT, and end-to-end environments for distributed systems.
- Use BDD/Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and UI automation frameworks to deliver test coverage.
- Manage test execution and defect tracking in JIRA.
- Support shift-left quality practices and collaborate with testing teams in regulated banking environments.
- Contribute to quality activities, continuous improvement, and emerging test automation techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and related teams while managing risks, controls, and operational responsibilities.
Requirements
- Expertise in BDD/Gherkin, including Cucumber and Selenium, and UI automation frameworks using Java.
- Strong functional testing experience across ST, SIT, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated scripts for MQ, Kafka, and file-based integrations.
- Understanding of defect management, distributed-system test execution, Agile and STLC practices, and regulated banking environments.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
- Understanding of core banking and the ability to contribute to quality activities and shift-left practices.
- Exposure to AI/ML tools for test optimization is valued.
- Experience testing SaaS platforms alongside internally built applications is valued.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Spring, OpenShift, Angular, or corporate banking systems is valued.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, advise stakeholders, collaborate across functions, and manage risk and controls.
