Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and software delivery solutions.
- Deploy and manage resilient applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and Jenkins for build, test, deployment, and release automation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems using logging, monitoring, and observability platforms.
- Automate manual activities and improve platform reliability using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy.
- Implement DevSecOps controls, including vulnerability management, secrets management, security scanning, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, operations, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Create reusable platform solutions, self-service deployment capabilities, engineering standards, and developer-enablement frameworks.
- Manage operational risk, strengthen controls, and support policy, compliance, resilience, and disaster-recovery practices.
- Guide and support colleagues or team members where leadership responsibilities apply.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for scalable application deployment and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as OpenShift, AWS, or GCP, including networking, security, monitoring, scalability, and high availability.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog for monitoring, logging, observability, performance optimization, and incident management.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy.
- Strong experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Good understanding of DevSecOps practices, including SAST, DAST, container image scanning, dependency vulnerability management, secrets management, and compliance controls.
- Experience collaborating with Agile development, architecture, QA, and operations teams.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development and automation tools for productivity, CI/CD optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of TLS/SSL certificates, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, ingress controllers, and identity management.
- Ability to create reusable platform solutions, self-service deployment capabilities, engineering standards, and developer-enablement frameworks.
- Exposure to financial services, banking, or highly regulated environments and related audit, compliance, resilience, disaster recovery, and change management processes.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, make evaluative judgments, resolve problems, communicate complex information, and influence stakeholders.
