Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and expand pennylane.ai and other websites using modern frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with product, design, and technical writers to develop and launch platform features.
- Build robust web interfaces for mobile and desktop devices.
- Own specific features and modules within the pennylane.ai ecosystem.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain high standards for automated testing.
- Architect scalable frontend systems and lead transitions to modern frameworks or patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the product roadmap.
- Partner with Product and Design leadership on long-term technical strategy and UI/UX standards.
- Mentor developers and foster continuous technical growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience for intermediate candidates or 6+ years for senior candidates.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Gatsby, and Tailwind.
- Experience integrating APIs through RESTful services and/or GraphQL.
- Strong commitment to code quality through automated testing.
- Preferred expertise with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
- Preferred experience customizing responsive Sphinx themes using Jinja2 templating.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions, backend languages such as Python, containerization with Docker, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Preferred understanding of internationalization and web accessibility.
- Product-minded, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Quantum software experience is not required.
