Responsibilities
- Develop new application features and solutions aligned with business and technology needs.
- Perform unit and component testing, debugging, maintenance, break/fix changes, and post-production support.
- Conduct code reviews, design and quality reviews, documentation, and operational readiness activities.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend practical engineering solutions.
- Provide technical expertise during incident management, outage analysis, impact assessment, and resolution communications.
- Collaborate with technology partners, business stakeholders, and external partners to meet performance, delivery, risk, and regulatory objectives.
- Identify automation, defect-prevention, cost-effectiveness, and continuous-improvement opportunities.
- Support quality engineering practices, governance, remediation plans, knowledge transfer, and mentoring of team members.
Requirements
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with web application development and integration using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with runtime environments such as Tomcat or JBoss.
- Experience with Agile delivery, particularly Scrum or a Scrum-derived methodology.
- Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, GitHub workflows, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate, preferably with a strong academic background in computer science or engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS, AI tools and integration, and relational DBMS platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 are assets.
