Responsibilities
- Develop new Angular UI solutions and features aligned with business and technology requirements.
- Perform unit and component testing, debugging, code maintenance, peer code reviews, and post-production support.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend pragmatic engineering solutions for assigned programs and projects.
- Collaborate with technology partners and stakeholders on application configuration, custom components, performance, integration, architecture, and delivery goals.
- Provide technical expertise during incident management, outage analysis, impact assessment, communications, problem determination, and resolution.
- Document and verify system components, applications, infrastructure, security, integration, operability, and architecture designs.
- Participate in quality management reviews, operational readiness reviews, governance activities, and solution design sign-offs.
- Identify automation, testing, process, performance, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support risk management, regulatory alignment, remediation planning, and adherence to enterprise engineering frameworks.
- Mentor and enable team members, share engineering best practices, support knowledge transfer, and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate, preferably with a strong academic background in computer science or engineering.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with web application development and integration using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Tomcat, JBoss, or another runtime environment.
- Experience with Agile delivery, particularly Scrum or a related approach, and tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tooling such as Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, and GitHub workflows.
- Experience with Git and Bitbucket.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, and procedures, with the ability to perform complex technical tasks independently.
- Cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS, AI tools and integration, and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 are considered assets.

- Base pay range of $81,600–$115,200 CAD plus eligibility for discretionary variable compensation.
