Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Validate software functionality, performance, user experience, and compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide developers with detailed defect information.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and support IBM Sterling file-transfer solutions, including business processes and maps.
- Identify automation and integration opportunities and support DevOps implementation.
- Manage risk, controls, policy adherence, stakeholder communication, and delivery of team or individual responsibilities.
Requirements
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, including Sterling Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, and Sterling Control Centre.
- Oracle and SQL database experience.
- Business process and map development experience.
- Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, and Connect:Direct protocols and basic certificate management using TLS, SSL, and OCSP.
- Experience with Unix operating systems, preferably Linux.
- Experience with DevOps implementation and automation or integration opportunities.
- Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, JIRA, and Confluence experience is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence decisions, analyze information, resolve problems, and communicate complex or sensitive information.
