Responsibilities
- Evolve, expand, and maintain shared component libraries for iOS, Android, and Web.
- Partner with UI/UX designers on component APIs, naming, states, variants, and alignment with the Figma library.
- Define architecture for theming, multi-brand layering, versioning, releases, and team contributions.
- Maintain documentation such as Storybook and drive adoption through pairing, reviews, and migration paths.
- Build accessibility and responsive behavior into components and verify them in practice.
- Use AI coding agents while retaining ownership of technical decisions, code quality, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Several years of frontend or mobile engineering experience, including hands-on ownership of a design system or shared component library used by multiple teams.
- TypeScript and Angular expertise, or comparable depth in another modern framework or library, with willingness to develop strong Angular expertise.
- Hands-on native UI development with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose or Swift/SwiftUI, with strong expertise in at least one platform.
- Experience with design tokens and theming multi-brand environments without forking the system.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design and accessibility standards, with practical verification experience.
- Product mindset toward internal tooling and the ability to enable teams and build consensus across engineering and design.
