Base Salary
$88k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end ML infrastructure spanning data processing, feature management, and model serving.
- Design and lead implementation of ML platforms supporting diverse workloads.
- Build scalable data processing systems and feature platforms for massive-scale ML workloads.
- Design ML serving architectures for real-time and batch inference, including inference optimization and scaling.
- Establish monitoring, observability, operational excellence, automation, and standardization practices.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, mentor platform engineers, and drive infrastructure decisions across the ML lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on ML infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and data processing at scale.
- Strong background in ML platform development, MLOps, production ML infrastructure, and complex technical leadership.
- Expertise with large-scale data processing systems such as Spark and Beam; feature stores; ML serving platforms; container orchestration; cloud platforms; data pipelines; and ML monitoring and observability.
- Preferred qualifications include GPU infrastructure and optimization, high-performance computing, open-source ML infrastructure contributions, ML-specific security and compliance experience, and a master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
