Base Salary
$79k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of backend software applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute feedback to improve development processes.
- Implement testing protocols, debug software, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Participate in requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and application support across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical specifications and user needs.
- Participate in agile team practices such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write and edit technical documentation and review relevant literature, patents, and current practices.
- Suggest innovative software solutions and maintain code quality, system reliability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or some combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability and willingness to learn software development practices and collaborate effectively with engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, including availability for nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
