Base Salary
$161k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test full-stack features for road network applications including the Map Editor, triage tools, and validation pipeline.
- Build content pipelines and automation that help Cartographers produce ZRN data accurately and efficiently.
- Develop tools and spatial algorithms to validate and refine high-definition road network maps.
- Create software requirements, design documentation, test plans, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, testing, and validation across the software development lifecycle.
- Create APIs and provide operational support for teams building map-driven systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Fluency with Python or C++.
- Experience with OpenGL, WebGL, and graphics programming.
- Experience with FastAPI, Postgres, REST web services, and operational support.
- Experience with AWS, cloud-based service providers, and service monitoring.
- Experience developing spatial algorithms, routing, or graph theory.
- Bonus: experience with React, JavaScript, web application development, Rust, GIS, or mapping systems.
