Base Salary
$125k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full stack features using React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Partner with product and design to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces.
- Create and maintain APIs and backend services, managing data flows between devices and applications.
- Optimize performance across the stack with a focus on responsiveness and scalability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions regarding data storage and service boundaries.
- Review code, mentor other engineers, and promote strong engineering practices.
- Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps tooling.
- Participate in planning, design reviews, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent field with a programming background.
- At least 4+ years of experience building scalable and available web services.
- Strong experience with Object-oriented Programming Languages like Python and React.js.
- Expertise in APIs (REST/GraphQL) and web backend design principles.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres) and streaming pipelines.
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
- Experience managing service reliability and cloud operations (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with tools like Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Experience building SaaS product offerings is a significant advantage.
