Base Salary
$190k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design and end-to-end delivery of individual systems, from business stakeholder scoping through production deployment.
- Build production applications used daily by business teams.
- Design and build AI features, including custom agents, workflows, and knowledge and retrieval infrastructure over connected enterprise data.
- Partner with the tech lead on architecture decisions and contribute perspectives on tradeoffs, patterns, and reuse.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure, deployment, observability, and reliability as the team’s scope develops.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders and embedded engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production software systems as a senior individual contributor.
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals, including production applications, backend services, and integration layers.
- Direct production experience building LLM-based applications, custom agents, or agentic workflows.
- Strong enterprise SaaS API integration experience, including authentication, rate limits, schema drift, and failure modes.
- Working fluency with MCP, LLM tool/function calling, current agent frameworks, and retrieval or knowledge infrastructure such as knowledge graphs, vector stores, and RAG.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and evolving requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills for technical discussions with business partners.
- Experience in enterprise IT, business systems, or platform engineering is preferred.
- Experience operating AWS and Terraform for production systems is preferred.
