Base Salary
$192k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and architect FastAPI backend services for the HD Mapping team’s web infrastructure.
- Support development of frontend tools for interacting with Zoox’s maps using TypeScript, React, MUI, and Deck.gl.
- Automate complex pipelines and workflows.
- Mentor team members on web technologies and distributed systems.
- Establish guidelines and refactor existing code to follow best practices.
Requirements
- Strong backend development and distributed systems experience.
- Frontend proficiency with Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Knowledge of relational database design with Postgres and RESTful API development.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor others.
- Experience automating complex workflows with Airflow.
- Bonus: experience with FastAPI, Kubernetes, and ArgoCI.
- Bonus: knowledge of geospatial data and coordinate systems.
