Base Salary

$112k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using generative AI, conversational AI, RAG, and modern integration patterns.
  • Design, integrate, deploy, monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI components within larger enterprise platforms.
  • Develop APIs integrating payment applications, platforms, AI services, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations and Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Client Support, and Product Development teams.
  • Advance platform modernization and improve technology stacks, development processes, quality, scalability, resilience, and time to market.
  • Automate software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance processes while validating AI-generated outputs.
  • Support incident, change, and problem management, including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Develop client-focused payment product solutions and share knowledge across the engineering team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expert-level skills in Java, Python, and Node.js; C++ or C# experience is a plus.
  • Experience building generative AI applications, conversational AI solutions, and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing, including tokenization, word embeddings, and sequence models.
  • Experience implementing and fine-tuning AI and machine learning models with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, model evaluation, robustness, reliability, security, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience with large datasets, exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Proficiency with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, and Node.js.
  • Experience configuring build and deployment systems including Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, error handling, application design, troubleshooting, and enterprise-scale components.
  • Knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipelines, ML model deployment, Redis, enterprise security, certificate management, OAuth 2.0, SSO, application security, SSDLC, and cryptography.
  • Ability to independently validate AI-generated code, tests, documentation, and technical recommendations.
  • Three or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or more than two years with an advanced degree, is preferred.
  • Payment technology industry experience is preferred.

  • Estimated US salary range of $112,100 to $204,000 per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

  • Hybrid work arrangement requiring at least three days in the office, with exact days confirmed by the Hiring Manager.
  • Travel requirement of 5–10% of the time.
