Base Salary
$132k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners and technical leads to refine requirements, create roadmaps, and execute and adapt plans.
- Contribute to Visa’s enterprise-wide risk platform across the lifecycle from ideation through delivery.
- Participate in system design, architecture creation, project planning, and design, code, and user-experience reviews.
- Own features end to end across design, coding, test automation, observability, reliability, performance, deployment, and operations.
- Respond to incidents during on-call rotations, troubleshoot complex issues, and assist with incident resolution.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, and delivery quality.
- Use and integrate GenAI, copilots, and agentic software across the software development lifecycle and DevOps activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience developing web-based applications.
- Experience with one or more of Java, Python, C#, or Golang.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
- Experience using GenAI, copilots, and agentic software to improve agility, quality, and security in software development.
- Preferred: ability to provide technical leadership and make sound engineering and operational decisions.
- Preferred: strong product mindset and customer focus, with experience collaborating with product managers and team leads.
- Preferred: experience architecting, building, deploying, and operating large-scale, highly available, fault-tolerant, and elastic services in cloud-native environments.
- Preferred: proficiency in GraphQL and gRPC API design, event-driven architectures, and message queues.
- Preferred: experience with container-based technologies and enterprise-scale web services.
- Experience building AI-powered product capabilities is a plus.
