Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy vendor and warehouse onboarding features for Amazon’s fulfillment network.
- Build capabilities to scale Direct Fulfillment into new marketplaces and improve channel economics.
- Develop sourcing cost models used for vendor-, channel-, and ASIN-level sourcing optimization.
- Develop and operate highly available, cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, investigate operational issues, and deliver permanent reliability fixes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
