Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations.
- Optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals.
- Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes using Helm.
- Maintain reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver identity solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at enterprise scale.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with expertise in API design and distributed systems.
- Experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks such as Spark, Hive, and Flink, and schedulers such as Airflow and Luigi.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, EKS, and AWS cloud deployment practices.
- Knowledge of SQL, complex data modeling, and high-throughput NoSQL or columnar databases such as Aerospike, Snowflake, and Scylla.
- Bonus: experience designing multi-tenant distributed systems or real-time streaming frameworks such as Flink and Storm.
- Bonus: knowledge of open table formats including Iceberg, Hudi, and Delta Lake, plus security and privacy frameworks.
