Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted threat hunting, including dark-web research, to identify advertising-fraud tactics and emerging risks.
  • Reverse engineer known software and analyze malware, botnets, source code, and attacker tactics.
  • Use deep packet inspection and network-layer signatures to detect and mitigate invalid traffic.
  • Develop client-side scripting methods and durable techniques to protect advertiser spend and trust.
  • Collaborate with internal security and product teams to share intelligence, identify problems, and improve security controls.
  • Influence leaders across the company to raise the security bar and address ambiguous, previously unknown threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Passion for reverse engineering, malware analysis, threat detection, and risk hunting.
  • Preferred experience with AWS products and services.
  • Preferred experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
