Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend software and services using Python, Java, and TypeScript.
- Design and operate Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, architecture, and environment setup.
- Run workloads on Kubernetes and Docker.
- Design APIs and integrate backend components with internal and customer-facing platforms.
- Deliver maintainable, secure, production-ready backend solutions using sound engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and scalability issues across services and cloud workloads.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve the efficiency, resilience, and observability of backend systems.
- Prepare and present work to colleagues and collaborate across the company.
Requirements
- Citizenship of a NATO member country and eligibility for NATO security clearance.
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Solid experience with Python, Java, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Azure-native development, API design, cloud architecture, networking, environment setup, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience building or operating cybersecurity solutions such as vulnerability management or External Attack Surface Management platforms is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to reusable, maintainable, secure, and well-tested software.
- Ability to manage priorities, work under occasional pressure, and present work effectively.
