Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology, product, QA, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to deliver solid products.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on projects.
- Review business-provided technical requirements and take concepts from design through delivery.
- Create software and component-level designs supporting technical requirements.
- Drive projects through the full development lifecycle while coordinating with team leads and external vendors.
- Ensure work meets quality, schedule, budget, and specification requirements.
- Follow departmental workflow processes, check in code promptly, and report development progress in tracking tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
- Strong skills in XML and JSON processing.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL or Oracle, microservices design, and scalable deployment pipelines.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and logging or monitoring tools such as ELK, Graylog, Datadog, or SignalFx.
- Familiarity with a modern UI framework for integration and basic interface support.
- Preferred experience with Netflix OSS components including Eureka, Zuul, Ribbon, and Hystrix; API gateways such as Kong or Apigee; serverless programming; NoSQL databases such as Cassandra; Apache Kafka or other messaging services; and UI or UX frameworks.
