Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python.
- Build scalable solutions for processing, integrating, and transforming large datasets.
- Contribute to cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate on system design, data modeling, and platform improvements.
- Improve software quality through code reviews and automated testing.
- Mentor less experienced developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial Python development experience.
- Strong experience building backend applications and REST APIs.
- Solid SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building data-intensive applications or working with large-scale data processing.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and clean code principles.
- Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms is advantageous.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed systems is advantageous.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform is advantageous.
- Comfort working in Linux-based development environments is advantageous.
