Base Salary

$137k - $188k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Execute complete test initiatives for Dolby imaging and video algorithms and software from proof of concept through delivery.
  • Partner with research, development, and product teams in an integrated engineering effort.
  • Participate in schedule estimation, test planning, test design reviews, and test reporting.
  • Independently design and implement test strategies and test cases.
  • Extend and maintain CI systems, test fixtures, and hardware, software, and automation environments.
  • Apply source control, continuous integration, automated testing, and release management best practices.
  • Create and maintain clear testing documentation and support SDK documentation through technical data review.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in imaging, systems, or application engineering.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Strong professional-level Python coding experience.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, bug tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience testing software involving computer graphics, computer vision, image processing, and/or video processing.
  • Experience working on OSX and/or Linux platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with NumPy, SciPy, DaVinci Resolve, Baselight, Colorfront, CUDA, OpenCV, OpenMP, C/C++, Git, and Jira.
  • Preferred knowledge of video technologies, post-production workflows, HDR technologies including Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, and validation of AI-based models.
