Responsibilities
- Build, extend, and refactor user-facing features in existing React and TypeScript applications.
- Create reusable UI components, shared frontend patterns, and component-library packages for multiple applications.
- Improve component quality, accessibility, usability, performance, responsiveness, cross-browser behavior, and reliability.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services using GraphQL, Apollo, and REST APIs.
- Work within a monorepo and improve frontend conventions for component reuse, state flow, API integration, and maintainability.
- Translate UX and product requirements into production-ready UI implementations.
- Review and safely modify legacy or existing frontend code without introducing regressions.
- Collaborate with backend developers, product owners, and designers on end-to-end solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor other frontend developers.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on production experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frontend development patterns.
- Experience building reusable component architectures, shared component libraries, or design-system-oriented UI packages.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with React state management and automated testing.
- Proven ability to work in established codebases, trace application flows, debug issues, and implement safe changes.
- Familiarity with monorepo-based development workflows and package-based frontend architecture.
- Strong attention to code quality, typing, maintainability, and developer ergonomics.
- Experience with code reviews and mentoring frontend developers.
- Preferred experience with Apollo Client, Redux or similar state-management tools, Turborepo, pnpm, Vitest, Cypress, Testing Library, Tailwind, accessibility requirements, enterprise UI, and B2B or workflow-heavy applications.
