Responsibilities
- Build and deploy applications that use physics AI models to solve customer problems.
- Collaborate with customers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, designers, front-end engineers, and platform engineers.
- Shape impactful tools, create low-lift prototypes, and iterate through user feedback.
- Build and maintain Python microservices and FastAPI APIs to serve Large Physics Models.
- Deploy applications to cloud infrastructure using Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Azure.
- Distill complex customer solutions into reusable platform components and drive new feature development.
Requirements
- A track record of solving complex technical problems.
- A solid foundation in software engineering, API design, and deploying applications to production.
- Ability to understand advanced engineering concepts and customer problems across multiple industries.
- Strong ownership, proactivity, and ability to solve novel problems end-to-end.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to work alongside customers to develop effective solutions.
- Mechanical Engineering or a similar background is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in Asia, North America, and Europe for an average of 3–4 weeks per quarter.
