Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, monitor, and continuously improve AI agents that automate repetitive tasks, support requirements decomposition, manage work items, summarize information, and improve decision-making.
- Translate business problems into AI-enabled workflow designs covering agent instructions, prompts, knowledge sources, inputs, outputs, guardrails, and human review points.
- Configure and administer Jira and Confluence capabilities, including project settings, workflows, permissions, templates, fields, automation rules, and knowledge structures.
- Design Jira automations that improve project board hygiene, reduce manual updates, support traceability, and improve team efficiency.
- Create Confluence templates, guidance pages, playbooks, training materials, demos, office hours, and coaching sessions to enable adoption.
- Document agent designs, automation logic, configuration decisions, and operating procedures in accordance with engineering practices and governance standards.
- Partner with BSA, Solution Architecture, Product, Engineering, QA, Delivery, and business teams to identify high-value AI and automation use cases.
- Promote responsible AI usage by ensuring outputs are reviewed, assumptions are transparent, and workflows follow approved standards and access controls.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and improving AI agents using Atlassian Rovo Studio or comparable low-code/no-code AI agent platforms.
- Strong understanding of how Jira and Confluence support requirements, work item creation, traceability, delivery execution, and knowledge management.
- Experience with Atlassian automation, marketplace apps, integrations, or reporting capabilities is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical ability to break down complex processes into simple, scalable workflow solutions and identify bottlenecks, standardization gaps, and automation opportunities.
- Experience creating documentation, process maps, templates, playbooks, training materials, and enablement content.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain AI and platform concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate across BSA, Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Delivery, and business stakeholder groups.
- Ability to balance platform standards, team needs, and delivery priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
