Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices and event-driven systems.
- Develop new product features and improve existing ecommerce application code.
- Gather requirements and plan, design, and develop complex, business-critical software solutions.
- Create functional designs while collaborating with enterprise architects, developers, business partners, and end users.
- Use AI coding agents across planning, implementation, and review while maintaining accountability for code correctness and quality.
- Respond to potential production issues and collaborate across teams to share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of software development experience.
- Understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, RESTful services design, asynchronous message processing, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python or Golang.
- Experience with JSON, REST, HTML, AJAX, and CSS.
- Hands-on professional experience with an AI coding agent such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Strong communication skills and ability to discuss complex technical problems with developers, QA, and business systems analysts.
- Preferred experience with Elastic Search, Solr, unit testing frameworks, mocking libraries, Django or other ORM frameworks, Tornado, Flask, Vue.js, React, NoSQL databases, RDBMS, Postgres, Cloud SQL, cloud hosting platforms, and infrastructure.
- Exposure to data science and machine learning technologies, authoring agent files and reusable skills, and connecting agents to systems through CLI tools or MCP.
