Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SRE solutions for monitoring, alerting, machine-learning anomaly detection, self-healing, and reliability testing.
- Provide shift-based production support, including off-hours and rotational on-call coverage.
- Participate in incident and problem management and identify improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Automate operational tasks, maintain technology currency through server patching and certificate renewal, and improve operating-system efficiency.
- Ensure application availability, uptime, service-level objectives, and compliance, including segregation of duties.
- Share technology findings through team demonstrations and collaborate with SREs, Scrum Masters, and partner teams.
Requirements
- Typically requires 2+ years of related experience in Operations Engineering platforms such as SRE, DevOps, Cloud, or Data, with a focus on AI integration to reduce toil.
- Requires advanced SRE knowledge and experience in financial institutions, plus experience across Linux, Windows, databases, cloud, distributed systems, mainframe environments, business workflows, and services/APIs.
- Requires the ability to automate simple tasks and hands-on experience with Ansible, Dynatrace, Moogsoft, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Blue Prism, Catch Point, and Grafana.
- Requires effective negotiation, stakeholder-management, communication, and consumer-banking experience.
- Financial-trading SRE experience and experience integrating AI agents to reduce toil are nice-to-have qualifications.
