Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and optimize on-premises data-platform components.
- Deploy and manage MinIO Object Storage and Apache Iceberg data lakehouse architecture.
- Install, configure, and support Starburst or Dremio platforms and Apache Spark clusters.
- Install, configure, and manage Informatica components and platform integrations.
- Configure and maintain Development, QA, and Production environments.
- Integrate platform components with IAM, PAM, Active Directory/LDAP, SSO, and RBAC services.
- Support Git-based DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Manage monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness processes.
- Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, integration, and connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to maintain platform stability, availability, and performance.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in platform engineering or related infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on experience administering MinIO, Apache Iceberg, Starburst or Dremio, Apache Spark, and Informatica.
- Experience with Linux system administration, VMware infrastructure, Docker or Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD integration.
- Experience integrating infrastructure with IAM and PAM services and troubleshooting enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of data lakehouse architecture, enterprise security architecture, performance tuning, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and backup strategies is preferred.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Terraform, and Ansible is preferred.
- Experience working in highly secured enterprise environments is preferred.
