Responsibilities
- Design and implement Snowflake Cortex Code and Snowflake Cortex data orchestration workflows for intelligent automation and analytical pipelines.
- Develop data models, transformation logic, SQL queries, and finance and accounting reporting solutions in Snowflake.
- Configure and maintain Snowflake warehouses, databases, roles, access controls, governance practices, and secure data-sharing patterns.
- Create reusable agent-based orchestration components and optimize pipelines and workloads for performance and compute cost.
- Perform data quality checks, monitor dashboards and logs, troubleshoot orchestration and performance issues, and improve reliability.
- Coordinate requirements, technical designs, documentation, deployments, testing, production rollouts, and ongoing support with technical, business, finance, and accounting stakeholders.
Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of experience managing end-to-end enterprise data solutions, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and steady-state support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex Code, Snowflake Cortex, and the Snowflake data platform, including design, development, performance tuning, and secure operations.
- Proficiency in complex SQL, scalable data modeling, transformation logic, and finance and accounting analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with general ledger reporting, reconciliations, and financial metrics.
- Experience with hybrid delivery setups, cross-functional collaboration, structured documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, data quality issues, and orchestration failures in Snowflake environments.
- Knowledge of cloud data ecosystems and integration tooling for connecting Snowflake with upstream and downstream systems.
- Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification or an equivalent advanced Snowflake platform certification is strongly preferred.
