Responsibilities
- Build software primarily in Java, with occasional work using React and Terraform.
- Design and implement cloud-native, serverless solutions using AWS services.
- Develop backend systems with Java and Spring for the Diverge energy data platform.
- Collaborate with AWS and global partners to deliver software for a global customer base.
- Contribute to product decisions and delivery within a stable, product-focused agile team.
- Use and help improve TDD, BDD, automated application deployment, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Participate in an engineer-led culture using practices including pair programming.
Requirements
- Advanced backend programming knowledge with Java and Spring.
- Experience using software development lifecycle tooling and processes to ensure quality.
- Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
- Understanding of how to architect and implement serverless AWS solutions.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices and the tools used for continuous integration and delivery.
- Strong problem-solving ability, willingness to learn, and commitment to supporting teammates.
