Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical engagements from discovery through workshops, demonstrations, practical validation, and agreed technical outcomes.
- Build customer relationships, uncover needs, qualify technical opportunities, and connect technical recommendations to business value and Microsoft solutions.
- Help customers modernize applications and improve software delivery and developer productivity using Azure, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot.
- Design end-to-end architectures spanning Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, security, data, applications, AI, and hybrid environments.
- Shape intelligent applications and agent solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Copilot technologies, and enterprise data, including Microsoft Fabric where relevant.
- Build prototypes and demonstrations to test customer ideas and guide secure, responsible AI adoption.
- Align account teams, specialists, partners, and customer stakeholders while resolving competing priorities and technical barriers.
- Coach technical colleagues and account teams and create reusable architectures and approaches from customer engagements.
Requirements
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience; or a bachelor's degree in one of those fields plus 6+ years; or 7+ years of relevant technical pre-sales or consulting experience; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in technical selling and delivery, leading complex opportunities across multiple technologies and teams from discovery through practical validation.
- Strong understanding of Azure, enterprise architecture, and the interaction of infrastructure, security, data, applications, and AI.
- Hands-on application development and AI experience, including building prototypes and explaining technical choices to customers.
- Experience with modern software delivery and developer productivity using Microsoft technologies or comparable platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, commercial judgment, independence, and ability to navigate ambiguity across organizational boundaries.
- Preferred: 8+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 6+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid or on-premises infrastructure, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, or technology management.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise modernization, AI solutions, or multinational customer engagements involving Azure, Microsoft Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, or GitHub.
- Relevant cloud, AI, development, architecture, or security certifications are preferred.
