Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud infrastructure from initial architecture through production deployment and scaling.
- Make foundational decisions about cloud architecture, infrastructure tooling, and operational standards.
- Build and operate container orchestration, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code systems.
- Establish monitoring, observability, logging, security, and access control for production infrastructure.
- Develop database and data infrastructure supporting the platform.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 to 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years building and operating production cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or a comparable cloud platform, including networking, storage, compute, and managed services.
- Experience designing and managing production Kubernetes clusters or other container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi and deployment automation pipelines.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database infrastructure, infrastructure security, networking, and access control.
- Comfort building systems and setting standards in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
- Background in data infrastructure, graph or semantic systems, or AI/ML platforms is a plus.
