Base Salary
$295k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal engineering teams to gather requirements and develop the service-management platform.
- Design and improve front-end and back-end applications that manage thousands of daily change rollouts.
- Create cross-functional architectural designs optimized for long-term scalability.
- Build AI-powered developer tools and improve engineering automation and productivity.
- Develop, mentor, and share engineering best practices with other teams.
- Work with managers and stakeholders to shape the team’s vision and direction.
- Design, ship, monitor, and support tools and systems used by engineers at Roblox scale.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience and at least 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- At least 8 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience building tools or systems used by other engineers at large scale.
- Experience with both backend and frontend development and software engineering best practices.
- Extensive infrastructure and distributed-systems experience.
- Experience with common cloud technologies, Docker, containers, and CD platforms.
- Knowledge of build, test, and CI/CD technologies.
- Full-stack experience using two or more languages or technologies such as Go, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with HashiCorp and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong customer-focus, collaboration, mentoring, and communication skills.
