Base Salary
$134k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate robust Kubernetes platforms and tools for rapid, consistent, and secure service provisioning.
- Improve platform reliability, operability, scalability, and cost efficiency across engineering operations.
- Write maintainable code and debug cloud-native distributed systems.
- Plan and scope technical work, influence architectural patterns, and educate engineering teams.
- Create documentation and tooling that enable engineer self-service and improve developer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applicable experience in platform engineering and container orchestration.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain CJIS clearance for full U.S. production access.
- Experience building platforms on Azure or AWS, preferably both.
- Production-scale experience building, operating, and innovating Kubernetes clustering solutions such as AKS or EKS.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, C#, and Java.
- Experience operating infrastructure and systems that are revenue-, security-, health-, or life-safety-critical.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, observability tools, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Experience designing tooling for operational management of SaaS/PaaS systems and supporting software engineers.
